Parish Clerk

required for the Parish of Seamer. 

The role is unpaid although expenses are remunerated. Duties include attending Parish Council meetings, liaising with Parish Councillors, dealing with email and telephone correspondence, preparing formal agendas and minutes, writing a report for the website and Grapevine as well as being Clerk for the Community Fund. Additional duties include maintenance of the Parish boards; writing applications for grants, liaising with local councils and any other matters arising from Parish Council meetings at the direction of the Chairman. Familiarity with Microsoft programs is essential, as is a good level of literacy and communication skills.
