STOKESLEY Library will close this year unless more volunteers come forward to help run it, a group has warned.
The centre is one of 21 in North Yorkshire that is due to be handed over to the community in spring this year, after the county council announced it could no longer afford to operate them due to budget cuts.

WHEELS 2 WORK SCHEME
The Wheels2Work scheme (which covers Richmondshire, Hambleton, Harrogate and Craven), now has a fleet of 50cc mopeds available to be loaned to individuals wishing to progress in life but disadvantaged by a lack of available transport between their home and place of work, training or further education.
The scheme, which is a charity and non-profit making, provides a wonderful opportunity for young people who live in areas with limited public transport to fulfil their potential.
