The Autumn Fayre held on November 15 raised over £200 for the village hall funds.
Thank you to everyone who came and to all the stallholders and helpers who made this event worthwhile.
A lady who came brought in a framed photograph of the village which she has kindly donated to the village hall. Unfortunately she didn’t let anyone know her name or where she lives. We would like to thank her, so if anyone knows who she may be, please contact Margaret Smith on 01642 710611.
There has been considerable interest from people for the village hall committee to start this club. Our aim is to have 100 or more members from within the parish – Seamer village, Tame Bridge and Coldpool – so that we can fund more projects for the hall for it to become even more of a community asset.
The Quiz night on November 1st, not only was super entertainment for all but managed to raised £285 for the village hall funds.
The Autumn Fayre which is on on Saturday the 15th of November will now start at 10am and not 11am as advertised before, giving you an extra hour to get all your Christmas shopping done.
The Stokesley school 6th form Open evening is scheduled for Tuesday the 11th of November at 7pm in the main hall.

Northumbrian Land Ltd – has prepared, submitted and successfully negotiated planning permission for 183 homes on this prime North Yorkshire site.
The new informal networking event for businesses, entitled Thirsty Thursday, is being launched in Stokesley.
A new project which aims to provide support to older or vulnerable people is calling for volunteers in the area to act as good neighbours.

The school is holding a Parents’ Forum meeting on 13th November at 6p.m. which will be an opportunity to discuss issues from the proposed change. At the meeting governors will be available to answer questions and listen to comments.
