Police are investigating recent vandalism to St. Martins church in Seamer. Gravestones have been pushed over at the rear of the church. Also the leaded windows have been broken with what appears to be air rifle pellets breaking the glass.

I have been made aware of door to door scams being conducted in Seamer and neighbouring villages. The scam takes the form of a door to door salesman with a young man offering items from his sports bag for sale.
