THE opening times of the short-stay paediatric assessment unit (SSPAU) at the Friarage Hospital are being temporarily changed from later this week due to staffing pressures.
Currently the children’s unit opens from 10am to 10pm but from Saturday (17 January), it will close at the earlier time of 8pm – Monday to Friday – and 5pm on weekends and Bank Holidays.

EMERGENCY repairs are to be carried out following a gas leak in North Road, Stokesley.
Engineers from Northern Gas Networks will close the road from 8am in the morning (Tuesday, November 25) until Saturday night near to its junction with the High Street.

Our aim is to have 100 or more members from within the parish – Seamer village, Tame Bridge and Coldpool – so that we can fund more projects for the hall for it to become even more of a community asset.
